After attending our 19th "Back to School" night, my wife & I rushed home to catch the season premeire of Grey's Anatomy - nice play on time and choices, as always great cast & music.
Despite the reviews, I kept watching for the premeire of Six Degrees , mainly because I could watch Hope David & Cambell Scott mow the lawn. As I became increasingly bored by the series, I did a 3 Stooges double-take at Jay Hernandez's cubicle mate:
Sarah Vowell on network TV ? A voice of reason & insight from This American Life now sandwiched between Swifter ads ? The author of Assassination Vacation now critiquing office mate's date choices ? The voice of Violet Parr now a minor character in a series that will be lucky to make it to mid-season ?
It strikes me that they might be a promotional campaign here. Have Michael Chabon appear on 'Til Death ? How about David Sedaris showing up on Ghost Whisperer ?
THAT's a great idea (and not just because I'm in love with Michael Chabon.) I mean, Hodgman's on TV 10 times a day - why not Sedaris? Or Mark Leyner...
