4. One book that made you laugh:  English as a Second F*cking Language: How to Swear Effectively, Explained in Detail with Numerous Examples Taken From Everyday Life by Sterling Johnson 

5. One book that made you cry: The Noonday Demon: An Atlas of Depression by Andrew Solomon

6. One book you wish had been written:  Pinko Marketing - Commons based unmarketing.

7. One book you wish had never been written: anything by Mr. Dobson

8. One book you’re currently reading: Leaping: Revelations & Epiphanies by Brian Doyle

9. One book you’ve been meaning to read: The Brothers Karamazov     by Fyodor Dostoevsky

10. One book you’d like to write: The Cluetrain Soul From The Street- a mashup of one of the best business books I've ever read and the shift taking place among people of faith, written from a POV of people not employed by ministry or church.

*** 4 observations:

1. all books are by white men just like me from a Western context (except Dostoevsky) - my oh my, that reminds me that I consume media in an echo chamber
2. no fiction on the list - in my reading, fiction is for "fun" & in my head, "fun" does not change my life
3. if the list included movies or music, I wonder if the variety would be any tighter ?
4. I bought all of these from a bookstore - I wonder if in the next 20 years of my reading life, how many will come in a digital format or even in a non-traditional book format
