A week ago today, a very special and very important book was published in the U.S. - Mark Yaconelli's Contemplative Youth Ministry: Practicing the Presence of Jesus. Based on his own experience and on his work with The Youth Ministry & Spirituality Project, Mark shares a way forward, in a gentle and loving voice, for following Jesus as we endeavor in ministry. While focussed on youth ministry, these 256 pages have insights which should transform ministry of all types.
For the next month, Mark will be touring a group of blogs, sharing his story in ways that are unique to that blog and the community that reads it. I invite you to journey along with us, to offer your voice and experience integrating Christian spirituality and ministry.
