EVERYTHING MUST CHANGE Resources

Here are some resources I pulled together to give people a sense of the kernel of Brian D. McLaren's new book:

I am one of many bloggers who have shared their insights and reactions to this book (you can track how bloggers are interacting with this work here).  My posts went through some of what I saw as the core threads of the book:

I also posted some of my own personal reflection around the book:

Here is an ongoing list of complimentary resources that might be used by communities and groups as they grapple with the book:

A Meditation for Francis:  Surely We Can Change
We are the binge generation – the ones who wanted it all
the subversive alternative language of the Kingdom litany by Shane Claiborne
Breaking me from a number of people in the ikon community in Ireland
Cheryl Lawrie has created some glorious worship resources for a ministry around restoration and liberation
We are prophets of a future not our own meditation attributed to slain Catholic bishop Oscar Romero

Two more formal resources for groups:

Capacity building for local NGOs: A guidance manual for good practice. This comprehensive manual on capacity building for local non-governmental organisations can be used for training and development or by local NGOs as a self-help manual.
Come Let Us Reason Together outlines new, common-ground approaches on the toughest cultural matters, including abortion, gay and lesbian issues, the treatment of human embryos, and the role of religion in the public square

If you know of resources (your own or others) that you feel might be meaningful, please email me.

The author is maintaining a page of release notes, including any corrections to the book and a great list of suggested reading as a followup to the book.

A Facebook group Revolutionaries of Hope ~ Everything Must Change by Brian D. McLaren also exists for this book and the conversation around this book.
