Saudi Arabia & The U.S.

From vodkamax
One of the things that continues to astound me is how little attention Saudi Arabia has gotten in the aftermath of the attacks on 9/11. The majority of the hijackers were Saudis, Bin Laden is from the country and much of the formation of Al Qaeda took place there during the early '90s.
On Friday, I saw The Kingdom, a popcorn thriller which uses Saudi Aarabia as a backdrop for their who & how dunit. The opening titles of the film are an entertaining and informative sequence which focuses on the United States’ involvement in Saudi Arabia during the last century

Watch it. (Flash Video, Quicktime)
I'm sorry that you haven't found much info on Saudi Arabia since 9/11. There's plenty out there: good, bad, and indifferent but unfortunately mostly of the latter two types.
Since leaving the US foreign service in 2004, I've been blogging about US-Saudi relations at Crossroads Arabia. Much of my commentary is based on my two tours of duty in the KSA (1981-83, 2001-03), other assignments in the region, and annual visits back to Saudi Arabia for 'ground truthing'.
