2004 Rear View Mirror

Joe Ely once wrote that the only nice view of Lubbock, TX was in his rear view mirror.

One of the things I love about this time of year is all the retrospective stuff - the best of lists (here's a great running list), even the cheesy videos clipfest set to even cheesier song (typically by Enya or Sarah McLachlan or Windham Hill) that seem to loop on TV.  Looking at where you just traveled in a rear view mirror, before the sappy sentimentality of nostalgia sets in, is something I adore.

In the spirit of that love, here's a running list of what some bloggers thought were their best posts in the past year.
